This is truly one of the most enjoyable places I have ever dined. Anyone appreciating good food in a nice atmosphere should find a reason to visit Jefferson, TX and eat here.

That's a pretty accurate description but it does not come close to describing the overall experience. The location in historic downtown Jefferson enhances the atmosphere and the friendly service is a definite plus.
When we visited, the food and atmosphere were pleasing and impressive enough, then I noticed the size of the kitchen. It is tiny. If you do visit, look in the back. See that little bitty space with the lady moving 90-miles an hour? That's it. That's all of it!

Our meal here was an absolute highlight of our trip to Jefferson.
I suggest getting there soon. I have a feeling the line to get in will not be getting shorter.
There are several good places I have written about in the past.
I consider the Austin Street Bistro to be a great place to eat.
