Country cooking and throwed rolls!

Anyone who loves country cooking and finds themselves near Bush Intercontinental Airport (north side of Houston)  should check the place out. 


If you are middle-aged (or older) or on a weight management program, I suggest going here after your weigh-in or cholesterol screen.

Sitting down to a meal here includes complimentary Fried Green Tomatoes and Fried Okra for starters. Look around or listen for the guy with the rolls. If you want a roll, he will throw one right to you! I was very impressed with his accuracy and skill. He threw 2 rolls at one time to two different people at the table using one hand. His aim was dead on! I was impressed. 

Chicken-Fried Chicken

The menu has standard country-cooking fare. Chicken-fried steak, Chicken-fried chicken, and other country classics are all done fresh here. Their green beans were some of the best green beans I have had in a long time. 





Other menu items include Hawaiian Chicken, salads, seafood, and an impressive dessert selection.

The service was really friendly and helpful. The roll-throwing guy is awesome. The place is clean and has personality. 


Combine all of this with reasonable pricing, and I believe we have a place worth visiting!
